Hello people! We’ve brought to you some delicious and healthy food recipes that seem tough to make but are damn easy and requires minimum ingredients to get prepared.
Today I’ll be sharing my top 5 favourite restaurant-style recipes which you can try at home.
1. Alfredo Pasta :
The first and most favourite of all time is Alfredo Pasta, one from Italian cuisine. You don’t mess with Italian food and that’s a rule. They are as simple and easy as possible.
So, the list of ingredients required to prepare Alfredo pasta is:
Pasta – 250g
Butter- 50g
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic – 4-5 cloves
Milk – 300 ml
Shallots – 1 no.
Method :
Boil a large pot of water to cook the pasta. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook until soft. Drain the pasta in a colander.
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. Add the butter and minced garlic to a pot and sauté over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is soft and fragrant, but not brown.
Turn the heat down to medium-low. Add the milk to the pot along with the cheese (cut into chunks) and a whole shallot. Heat while whisking until the cheese is fully melted into the milk and the sauce starts to simmer. When it reaches a simmer, the sauce will thicken.
Turn the heat down to low to keep the sauce warm. Season the sauce with 1/4 tsp salt and some pepper.
Add the vegetable of your choice to the sauce and stir it in until it has become soft.
Finally, add the cooked and drained pasta to the sauce and stir to combine. Serve immediately.

2. Tawa Paneer Tikka :
Cottage cheese is a prominent thing in any vegan’s life when it comes to deciding for ordering any dish.
Tawa paneer tikka is the most favourite starter course of all. This mind-blowing North Indian cuisine recipe requires very fewer ingredients and can satisfy your spice craving perfectly.
Ingredients :
Paneer- 500 gm (cubes)
Capsicum -1 cup (cubes)
Tomato-2 deseeded and cubed
Onion- 1 cup (cubes)
Oil- 2 tblspn
For Marinate:
Curd-1 cup
Coriander powder -1 tblspn
Pepper-1 tsp
Red chili powder-1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder-2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tblspn
Chat masala powder-1 tblspn
Lemon juice-2 tblspn
Salt to taste
Method :
Mix the marinate together to a smooth paste.
Add in chopped vegetables and paneer cubes in this and marinate for 5-6 hours in the fridge (overnight works best).
Take it out of the fridge before 30 mins of preparation so that it reaches room temperature.
Now heat 1 tbsp of oil in a nonstick pan and arrange the paneer and vegetables in a single layer.
Cook on both sides for 4-5 mins till everything is cooked.
Serve it as it is or skewers it alternatively in a toothpick and serve.

3. Hara Bhara Kebab :
We all know that green is the Healing Colour.
It is the colour of balance and health.
So, this recipe as the name says is healthy and tasty as well.
Indian cuisine is very popular and so easy to prepare. It looks so aesthetic when it is prepared.
A must-try dish for all.
Ingredients :
1 cup Boiled Potato Grated
1 cup Spinach (Chopped)
1/2 cup Green Peas
1/4 cup Fresh Coriander (Chopped)
2 Green Chili (Chopped)
1 inch Ginger (Chopped)
2 tbsp Besan
2 tbsp Cornflour
1/4 cup Bread Crumbs
Salt to taste
2 tsp Dry Mango Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
Oil – as required
Method:
Heat water in a pan. Once the water comes to a boil, add spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Drain the water nicely from the spinach and let it cool.
Add it in the blender along with peas, coriander, green chilli, garlic and ginger and blend it to make a smooth paste. No extra water should be added while blending.
In a bowl add the green paste, grated boiled potato, besan, cornflour, bread crumbs, salt, dry mango powder and garam masala powder in the paste and mix well.
Roll them and make small kebabs.
Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry the kebabs until golden brown from both the sides. Serve hot.

4. Chocolate Oats :
Don’t like oats ?! Well, then this recipe can surely make u fall in love with oats.
When it comes to breakfast I always prefer something healthy but can’t compromise with taste.
So this healthy, quick, and toothsome recipe is here.
Ingredients :
Oats – 250g
Cocoa powder – 2 table spoon
Milk – [400 – 500] ml
Sugar – as per taste.
Walnut/ Almonds – 3-4 nos.
Method :
Add cocoa powder and sugar to milk and mix it well.
When the chocolate milk comes to boil, lower the flame and
add oats to the chocolate milk.
Mix it with a few pieces of almonds and/or walnuts. ( Or any of the dry fruits of your choice)
Cook the mixture on the stove for 4-5 minutes. Serve hot
Optional: You can garnish it with your favourite seasonal fruit.

5. Garlic Bread:
This particular one I love to munch on, in my free time.

Ingredients :
Bread – 4nos
Butter- 50g
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic – 4-5 cloves
Coriander – 10g (finely chopped) [optional]
Method :
Heat the butter under a low flame or use a double boiler.
When the butter has melted, add chopped or crushed garlic along with coriander and mix.
Let it cool down.
Now, cook the bread on a pan until light brown. And then apply garlic butter to both sides.
You can also sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
