Here are the things that help you with stress management.


Stress has been a part of us nowadays but certainly not good for us. We’ve engrossed ourselves so much in work that we’re not able to take care of ourselves.

Taking care of oneself isn’t a big deal or requires a lot of time but the thing is we often ignore it. We ignore the thing that taking care of our mental health is as important as taking care of our bodies. We can’t ignore it. Generally, we don’t pay much attention to these all and keep ourselves busy in household chores, works, and other things but our behavior shows that we’re in stress. When the stress crosses it’s limit, we waste money on some temporary medicine or supplements to relieve stress. Why waste money if you can bust your stress just by taking a little care of yourself.

Here I’ve discussed some major things that you should add in your daily routine and get a stress free living.


Bananas –

Banana is an instant energy booster, the best thing about it is, it’s commonly available in the market. You don’t need to climb mountains to find Bananas. So it is quite easy to add bananas in your daily routine.

It contains Vitamins B such as folate and Vitamin B6 which helps in the production of serotonin which is commonly known as Happy hormone. The release of serotonin helps in improving your mood and makes you feel happier. It also relaxes your mind and calms the nervous system.

Adding a banana in your daily diet can be a savior if you’re distressed. You can consume it in various ways like you can make banana smoothy or banana bread or banana bread muffin. Relieve your stress with delicious recipes.


Dark Chocolates –

Tell me who doesn’t like chocolates? It’s everyone’s favorite. But, do you know it not only just tastes good but it’s also beneficial for the health.

According to a new study, it is found that eating dark chocolate ( approx 1.4 ounces) on daily basis can help in reducing stress.

Dark chocolate reduces the level of cortisol which is a stress hormone, as well as Catecholamines which is found in highly stressed people.

It also helps in relieving anxiety and helps in serotonin production which helps in improving mood.


Physical Activities –

Physical activities help in improving our physical as well as mental health.

It helps in the production of Endorphins which is known as Feel good hormone and also releases serotonin which leads to improving your mood.

Regular physical activities such as cycling, brisk walking, or doing exercise improve the ability to sleep, calm your mind that eventually results in a reduction of stress.

So, include these activities in your daily routine and bust your stress.


Listening to Music –

From ages, music has been the best therapy for the mind as well as for the soul. It helps in lowering blood pressure and decreases the level of stress hormone. We feel the level of ecstasy increasing. Listening to slow, soothing or classical music grabs our attention and distracts our mind from overthinking.

Music improves the quality of life. It helps in the reduction of stress and anxiety. Music also helps in improving our emotional health. We start feeling ourselves.

It relaxes the muscles and lowers the level of Cortisol- The stress hormone.

So, listen to music daily for 1-2 hours or whenever you feel anxious or distressed.


Watching comedy shows –

We all have heard this proverb ‘ Laughter is the best medicine’.

So, whenever you’re in tension or having the feeling of anxiety just play a comedy video and see the results. Laugh out loud.

It strengthens our immune system and lightens our mood. Laughter is best for our physical and emotional health. It reduces depressions and improves mood. It releases Endorphins – Feel good hormone.

It also protects our heart and lowers the stress hormone so we can say, A good laugh a day keeps all your stress away.

So keep laughing! Hahaha


Talk to your best friend/closed ones –

Nothing could be as relaxing and sharing your heart out to the one you love. Sharing problems with your closed ones helps your mind to relax and makes you feel lighter. Various thoughts revolve all over our minds, causing a feeling of anxiety and stress. 

The best way to managing them is by talking about all those thoughts/ daily happenings of life with your best friend or close ones. They might not have solutions for you every time but they’ll listen to you and talking to them will certainly make you feel good and calmer.

This remedy is my personal favorite.

It reduces all my stress and tension within a minute.


Be your best friend –

Now, after the above point, many of you will say that you don’t have a best friend or any close one to share things with. Well, let me tell you, you can be your best friend. Stand in front of the mirror and talk to yourself, talk about everything that you’re going through.

Speak up all the tensions and mixed thoughts that make you distressed and anxious.

Believe me, this is one of the best ways to relieve your stress.

Try this whenever you’re distressed and you’ll get positive results. You’ll feel lighter and you’ll have a feeling of satisfaction.

Talk to you yourself, spend time with yourself!


Eat your favorite food –

Last but the best one to relieve stress and trust me it is the mantra.

‘Good food makes everything great’. This is the line we often listen to in ads. Well, this is a very true statement that works great.

Feeling distressed?! Just grab your favorite food and start feeling good as soon as you take the first bit. Yummy!

According to research, eating good food generates a sense of euphoria. It realizes Endorphins- Feel good hormone that makes you feel good and helps in reducing your anxiety and stress.

as we speak now, sometime I to deal with stress and anxiety, as i said earlier, I'm from this planet too and in my early 20s, I have also been through the rough patches a couple of times,

i knw how it feels to be left alone, to have no friends, when you need someone to talk to share your problems but unfortunately you don't have one, It feels too bad, but remember its a bad day not a bad life, the sun will shine again through the dark nights and you will to, so just hold on to it tight

as I'm writing this, I remember my days, as the sun used to settle down, i used to feeling blue as I didn't knew what to do now, how will this night pass? and till when I will be feeling this odd, but as  I said the sun will shine again

just utilize your time into some productive works, just make yourself busy and time will heal everything, reach out to your friends and spend some quality time with them.
